1. 當動詞或是介系詞的受詞 O
He wants to be a good basketball player.
He is about to leave for the USA.他該動身前往美國的時候了


2. 當主詞補語S. C.
My dream is to travel around the world.(S.C)
to travel around the world補充主詞My dream
若句子只有My dream is是不完整的
誰知道你的夢想是啥呢??

比方說My name is Jessica這句話的補語就是Jessica
若只有My name is....誰知道你叫什麼名字呢

3. 受詞補語
She needs me to go shopping with her this afternoon.
to go shopping........就是補充me受詞
若句子只有She needs me.只代表她需要我並沒講清楚需要我做啥??
原來她需要我和她下午去逛街哪~~

4. 當副詞

I’m glad to see you here.
I am so lucky to have so many friends.我是如此幸運擁有這麼多朋友
副詞修飾動詞, 形容詞, 以及副詞本身

to have ........ 修飾形容詞lucky



5. 當主詞 S
To be a great magician is my dream.---這句符合以前講過的; 動詞前面是主詞
這具主詞在is前面--To be a great magician

=It’s my dream to be a great magician.
(在此; It為虛主詞; 整句話重點在後面to be a great magician)
我的夢想是當一位偉大的魔術師


6. 不定詞否定--在前面加上not即可 Mom told me not to eat junk food.

7. 形容詞Adj It is a good place to go.

8. 目的 We study so hard to get good grades.

不定詞片語

在此;當形容詞用 ; to see和to do 修飾activities
