助動詞應用範圍 問來自哪裡Where do you come from?

他來自哪裡Where does he come from?

注意唷------疑問句開頭的對話或是句子 回答時 主詞 用 代名詞 取代原來的專有名詞
舉例
Jacky來自哪裡? 他從加拿大來的
Where does Jack come from?
He comes from Canada.(答句不需要再用Jack 而是以he--這個代名詞取代Jack)

她們不是從台北來的
They don't come from Taipei.

否定疑問句 Don’t/Doesn’t +S +V+………..
她不是從台北來的嗎?
Doesn't she come from Taipei?

詢問來自哪裡也可用be動詞
Where do you come from?= Where are you from?
(用be動詞時就看不見助動詞do以及一般動詞的影子啦)

看到come立刻曉得有助動詞存在your cousin算第三人稱, 所以答案C

（ ）A: ____ are you from?B: I'm from the USA.
(A) Where (B) What (C) Who (D) How
問哪裡來的;疑問詞用Where,所以答案是A

( ）Mike: Do you like tea or coffee?　Cindy: ________
(A) I like tea. (B) No, I don’t. (C) Yes, I like coffee. (D) I like tomato juice.

我在課堂上提到助動詞以及be動詞疑問句達具有yes/no,
不過
這句很特別
因為有兩種選擇, 喜歡coffee還是tea, 所以二選一,答案A最適合 而不選C

32. Jeff: _____.Peter: He is a computer salesman.
(A) Where is your brother? (B) How is your father? (C) What does your brother do? (D) Who is your sister

看到答句He is a computer salesman.所以明白是問職業,答案C
